Don't use the NVCP. Use ToastyX CRU. NVCP creates GPU scaled resolutions, which aren't always what the monitor is _receiving_. We saw this years ago before the Benq 220hz overclock thread turned into a megathread. People were doing 180hz overclocks with the NVCP on XL2411Z's but it was actually 144hz to the monitor and 180hz through the driver, which created desync problems. So always create them in ToastyX CRU then reboot.

how can i prevent that?
and is there any sort of test that i can run?

so how can i check what is actually done thru monitor and what is done via driver?
is this universal thingy or is it just related 2 only dyac monitors?
am asking this bcs i dont own an dyac..but i sometimes experiment with large VT

and i was never certain if i am actualy using large VT res..bcs no backlight strobe..

and i am not quite certain what 2 delete in cru, shoud i delete those 2 defaults res ?
or should i delete that cea blocks or whats d proper way 2 do it?
