Can you tell me what would be the optimal settings in the nvidia control panel and in-game to have less input lag if I use a fixed refresh rate? thanks in advance. I have a 144hz and 1440p monitor

For games that support nvidia reflex, enable it in the game's options. Setting low latency mode to "ultra" in the nvidia panel also helps.

If you use vsync, then it's important to cap your FPS slightly below the refresh rate (-0.01 should be enough.) You need RTSS for that. See this guide on how to do this correctly:
