HELP!! G7 vs Alienwear 360hz

Post by nightside » 21 Sep 2021, 12:53

Looking to buy a new monitor for an MMO new world. I plan on using a shooting weapon that requires headshots etc. I can't decide between the two monitors.

G7- Wouldn't use gsync cause the game fps ranges from 75-200// curve good for mmorpg?

Pros: bigger heads, higher pixel count, better looking
Cons: Not as fast?

Alienwear 360hz-

Pros: Super smooth with g sync ultimate,
Cons: Small heads, less pixels

Please help!

U can get even bigger heads on 27" or 32" 1080p since pixels are bigger and its cheaper.

It’s really a question of the resolution and screen size you’re looking for. For competitive FPS players, I usually recommend the fastest panels available and 1080p simply due to the decreased latency and increased frame rate that comes with playing at a lower resolution. I don’t know how competitive New World is, but if you like your games to look good then I would go with 1440p.

This is coming from someone who “downgraded” from 1440p to 1080p and actually just ordered the 390 Hz 1080p display too. The difference in visual quality is immediately noticeable going from 1440p 27” to 1080p 24”, and I definitely do miss it. However, I care more about performance and FPS.
