Hp Omen X25 is imo the best 240hz monitor to exist. The motion clarity on that thing is unmatched (without strobing tech)
do you prefer it to your own vg259qm or xl2546k ? 2546k is a big no for me bc of just two OD options ( both high and premium have crazy overshots )
VG259QM, but if you can find a 2nd gen TN monitor like the X25, XF252Q or the KD25F I would recommend you to get one. They’re just better.
I've been trying a 2546k for 2 days and it's not bad, more responsive and less blur than my 27gn850, the only strange thing is that I notice very little difference between dyac on and off in game, and I was a bit disappointed as to hear a lot of people dyac should change things like day and night.
on warzone dyac premium with ama high, it gives me similar performance as dyac off and ama premium, maybe it's me who am not careful enough to notice the differences but seriously they are minimal
I'll be using this for a few days then I'll try x25 and vg259qm and see.

Given you have a wide FPS range (150-220 FPS), I would recommend a monitor that has a g-sync module (I know you are not using g-sync but bear with me). When you have a wide FPS range you need a monitor that performs well (pixel response and overshoot) across that range. To get this you (usually) need variable overdrive. Monitors with G-sync modules always have variable overdrive and the implementation is usually good. Hardware Unboxed tests for pixel response and overshoot across the refresh range of the monitor so I would recommend checking their reviews out on YouTube.
One of the best options right now is the Asus PG279QM. The G7 also performs well, but some people report issues with flickering and it has a curve. If you don't have those problems or an issue with the curve then that might be a good option too. Full disclosure, I have the AW2721D and IMHO it's a great option as well. The PG279QM performs slightly better in almost all metrics, but it's also more expensive (especially if you catch the Alienware on sale). Check the Hardware Unboxed reviews for comparisons.
Hope my 2 cents are helpful!
P.S. There are monitors without G-sync modules that have variable overdrive, but it's not as common (though becoming more common) and the tuning is (usually) not as good so make sure you do your research on non g-sync module monitors.
I'm also checking 27 1440p 240 as the new predator xb273ugx or alienware 2721d or asus, they are all very similar in performance, there is none among them that stands out from the others, maybe predator is a little better of all but is similar.
the decision is a bit difficult, it comes to choosing whether to have a fast all-rounder monitor or have 2 separate monitors, one for fps only and the other for everything else.
The 1080p monitors on a diagonal of 25 give you a reactivity that you cannot have on a 27 1440p, not very big differences but you can feel it a little, with 27 I have to move the screen far away to hear it well and in fast flicks or very close fights with 25 inches my eyes feel that they can handle everything more easily,
