IIISLIDEIII, is there a smoothness difference between Omen and 2546k? I came across a video where the owner of the Omen says that with 2546 (without the "k") he felt more smooth than his model Omen x25 gsync (without "f").
monitors: TN ACER 1916 (75Hz)>TN ACER 1917 (75Hz)>XL2540K (240Hz)>IIYAMA MASTER VISION PRO 451 (CRT 160 Hz)>xl2546k>omen x 25>24g2zu>xv252qf

I don't notice any difference between the 2 in that sense, the omen gives me the feeling of having only a hairy less input lag, but let's talk about sensations, probably if I did a blind test I would not be able to distinguish them.

Here you talk about the non k model that I haven't tried so I can't tell you anything about it

passion, gaming is my hobby.
I keep all the time I have available before having to return the monitors, they are all excellent, one cannot say that one is bad, at the same time they are all different.
Commercially speaking the monitor to be taken today is acer, tn is considered by many to be out of date while ips is pulling a lot, also many hz people like them, lol...but I choose for myself and I rely only on my feelings.

p.s
my next monitor will be 360hz tn lol

Cant seem to find omen x25(non f) anymore. Is there a same panel with equally good response times under a different brand?

it says Ozone dsp24.
I don't know if it is the same panel as the Omen but it seems the Ozone performance is top notch, I have not tried this monitor yet, I ordered a unit but it arrived damaged

But at the same time factory calibration on this monitor did have some very strange near black detail almost crushing (not quite) - which made distinguishing certain details harder than it should be, especially in the dark scenes. This was straightened out by calibration. I found this strange because so many reviews stated the colours would be spot on out of the box - even the "srgb" space then had the opposite problem of a bit too lifted blacks (too bright). Which was weird.
can you give me your icc file so I load your calibration?

Sure, you can try it out. Could make things worse or better.
