f you want the greatest possible clarity, to date, in 2021, you still have to go to a TN (possibly with the latest generation panel such as Omen), no ips monitor will give you the same clarity, regardless of the refresh rate.
Omen has a panel of 2018-2019, benq has a newer panel. It seems that in the version "f" the "omen" has the same panel as the benq, only revisions 1.2, in the benq xl2546k 1.8. Benq has a newer panel. Benq and Omen are configured and implemented in different ways, so it is possible that Omen will be better in some scenarios, but even from your photos I see more clarity in Benq, without strobing. Also, in theory, the benk should have a lower input lag. And as I understand the g-sync increases the input lag. From here, I do not yet understand how people praise the omen in comparison with 2546k. Of course, in practice, everything may be different than in theory, but even the screenshots so far speak in favor of the benq.
on the omen, as on the benq, you don't have to use gsync so I wouldn't worry about the input lag it adds.
Omen and benq (without strobing and gsync) have the same input lag according to rtings tests and in fact using them I don't notice perceptible differences going from one to the other, where did you read that omen has a higher input lag?
The reason why "the rumors" say omen is better is because it is actually better, it has perfect clarity on the ufo test, unlike the benq which has a slight overshoot (as you can see from the photos).
Do not take the photos I posted too seriously, I took them on the fly and they do not faithfully show what I see on the screen, on the benq there is it's a slight overshoot on the left side of the alien that Omen doesn't have.
But I think the choice of who is the best should not be made between omen and benq, but between omen / benq vs acer.
The acer shuffles the cards a bit because it wins practically on all parameters compared to Omen and benq:
colors, input lag, responsiveness, fluidity.
The only point where it loses is the response time, the difference isn't terrible ..... but it's pretty consistent, if acer had the response time of 2 tn there would be no discussion, he would have won easy.
