SLIDE i just try by amazon the xl2546k.. the smoothness anche the clarity are awesome.. but i feel a lot pf input lag.. it appear very very slow.. mu dell s2522hg looks with half of input lag.. you notice it yet? The acer is better?
it has a slightly higher input lag than the "competitors" when used with dyac, they are not huge differences but you can feel, without dyac the input lag is halved but at that point it is not worth the money it costs.
Below 2 screenshots made by me (sorry for the quality) of Omen and benq both without strobing, photos taken a 1200pps, live UFOs are clearer, I took an amateur shot just to give an idea:
Benq
Omen
Acer is more responsive, smoother and has the least input lag of all, the difference is quite noticeable, but it is also slower in response times than the others and this is also quite evident.
There is no monitor that wins on all sides, it is a short blanket, on one side or the other you have to compromise, it is up to you to decide which is the most important aspect.
A lot depends on the game you play, if you play csgo or valorant where there a lot of pre aim maybe better acer, if you go to fortnite, overwatch where there are a lot of fast movements maybe better Omen.

I used a XL2546K for like a week or two. I never really noticed much input lag, but I have seen many people say that. I also didnt get into very technical testing with it so.... I dont know. I just couldnt get myself to pay $500 for a 240hz TN panel in 2020/2021 just for the one feature so I returned it.
depends on what you are looking for and what you play, as I said before it is always a compromise, beyond money, if you want the greatest possible clarity, to date, in 2021, you still have to go to a TN (possibly with the latest generation panel), no ips monitor will give you the same clarity, regardless of the refresh rate.
If you need the lowest possible input lag and the smoothest possible image (without gsync), no monitor will give the same result as acer.
It is not a question of ips vs tn, but of what you want to get out of a monitor.
