zowie benq xl2546k screen tearing/lag

Just bought a BENQ Zowie xl2546k for the dyac+ tenchnology. I notice when playing csgo, that there is lag or motion blur when dyac+ is on premium and AMA is on high, and im curious why that is. I had minimal screen tearing/lag on my 280hz monitor, and I don't think I can tell such a big difference with 40hz. I kept all settings the same but it just feels a lot worse than my old monitor right now. Should I turn the settings down in game to help? Thanks
