Subtle vertical lines while image is motion

Post by Khodak » 12 Jan 2022, 04:44

I've noticed that my Phillips 221V8L displays some vertical lines similar to scanlines whenever the image is moving, so I've run this test https://www.testufo.com/photo#photo=que ... ttersize=0 and that if I reduce it to 60 Pixel/Sec the issue is pretty much gone. Any idea on what might be causing this? I've already tried to adjust the SmartResponse setting and Increase the refresh rate but the issue persists. Don't know if its worth mentioning but I if move my head I can see it on static images too.

Pixel inversion (pixek walk). My copy of the omen x 25 does the same in this test. This is a lottery. xl2546k didn't have this problem, 2540k did.
monitors: TN ACER 1916 (75Hz)>TN ACER 1917 (75Hz)>XL2540K (240Hz)>IIYAMA MASTER VISION PRO 451 (CRT 160 Hz)>xl2546k>omen x 25>24g2zu>xv252qf
