1080p monitor w/ XBOX One X since update

All newer XBOX consoles supports 120Hz+ & FreeSync. Getting help with getting "Better Than 60Hz" on the XBOX ONE, XBOX Series S, and XBOX Series X, as well as the PlayStation 5.

1080p monitor w/ XBOX One X since update

Post by Dan1942 » 01 Dec 2018, 10:47

I am looking for a monitor to use with the One X for competitive FPS (specifically Call of Duty BO4). I know there has been some updates to make the One X 120hz but not sure if it works for games. Here is what I am looking for
*24" or so
*1080p (unless something else is recommended)
*144hz or 120hz or 60hz (not sure about HZ needed for fastest game play on One X.)
*also need very low input lag.
*Not sure if I need FREESYNC 2 or 1 or nothing?

The Samsung C27JG50 looks like it works well with the One X but I really don't need 1440p
Thanks for the help I am just getting completely lost in trying to figure this out.

This one is easy! Samsung C24FG73 144hz Curved 24 inch 1080p monitor. Great monitor, as long as you stick to 120hz with Low Input Lag mode activated. Never ever try 60hz on it tho, because the input lag is huge as the "Low Input Lag" option gets greyed out at 60hz (no one knows why, they fixed it via firmware on other models, but not on this one).

Cheers

The Samsung CFG series are excellent XBOX monitors.

Even though they are VA panels, they are pretty low lag by VA standards, especially in the low lag mode.
