Xbox One X 120hz+Freesync

All newer XBOX consoles supports 120Hz+ & FreeSync. Getting help with getting "Better Than 60Hz" on the XBOX ONE, XBOX Series S, and XBOX Series X, as well as the PlayStation 5.

Xbox One X 120hz+Freesync

Post by Xdico » 28 Jun 2020, 08:04

Hello guys I’m new to the forum and I need you support on this subject.
I have a 144hz monitor with freesync but I’m having issues with input lag. I don’t know if anyone have tested the different refresh rates and actual input lag on different option.
Which is better 120hz+freesync(is it supported?) or 60hz+freesync. Is 120hz only better than 60+freesync.
Finally can we use 144hz is there anyway to apply that.

Thank you

This is quite a loaded question. But, the 120Hz screen will be better in my opinion. As ZeOBpf6 points out, it's situational. If you have the horsepower go with the 120Hz, if you don't go with the 60Hz. For me, ever since I went to 144Hz screen with Gsync I simply can't go back. After long game sessions at 120Hz + I look at my phone and I can visibly see it flashing since it's only 60Hz. Of course, I guess it depends on the individual. You have to understand though, that all of those technologies are only truly useful if you cannot maintain a certain FPS.
