If anyone is interested here is how crosstalk looks with ELMB SYNC (Adaptive-Sync + ELMB).
Top, middle and bottom of the screen, 280Hz, middle cyan.

And here is how regular ELMB looks (without Adaptive-Sync)

Seeing these images makes me wonder if I really need to spend £300 right now on an upgrade from my overclocked XL2411Z @ 200hz with ELMB...

Motion detail is important to me as is response time, might abuse Amazon's return policy to see how much of a difference (of course going to IPS will have benefits too!)

Oh, is that 200Hz strobed ufo, captured at bottom of the screen?

I wouldn't recommend upgrading to IPS if u don't mind some of the TN cons like colors, viewing angles and size in this case... XL2411Z doesn't have freesync tho. If you really do need to upgrade consider that XG2431 for premium backlight strobing on IPS.

Yeah thats my Benq XL2411Z with ELMB on @ 200hz - it really is impressive vs the "standard" blur reduction at 144hz.

If it had freesync and I didn't have to mess about with OOR Buster etc I think it would be a keeper for now!

OSD settings:
 - everything stock (Racing Mode, Contrast 80, Adapive-Sync ON, HDR off) except Brightness 10, Color Temp. > User Mode > R98, G99, B96 (tftcentral.co.uk calibration)
 - enabling EMLB or ELMB-SYNC automatically changes Brightness to 90.
 - Overclocking ON
 - shipped with firmware MCM103

Setup:
 - ASUS DUAL-RX580-O4G
 - DP cable, not the one included, worked perfect
 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S camera

VIEW IN FULL RESOLUTION AND ZOOM FOR BETTER QUALITY!
Strobed vs strobed+vrr vs sample-and-hold ufos (5844x3660), brighter image here: https://i.ibb.co/qnPYs8R/VG279-QM-Blur- ... pg-1-2.jpg
Image
 - 960p/s, middle screen, middle cyan, fullscreen ufo
- overshoot at OD 120 is placed in-between OD 80 and OD 100 (OD 90)
- I'm not sure if VRR is supported with testufo.com, so ELMB-SYNC column might not be representative
- there was no point of recording OverDrives bellow 40

Strobe Crosstalk @120Hz and @280Hz with ELMB (not ELMB-SYNC)

No Frameskipping @280Hz if anyone is into that

ELMB is fixed strobing, ELMB-SYNC is strobing + Adaptive-Sync. So just disable Adaptive-Sync and enable strobing (ELMB-SYNC).

Fix VG279QM and VG259QM high 60 Hz input lag with QFT/LARGE VERTICAL TOTALS!
From my testing latency was reduced by ∼32 ms.

Formula for Large Vertical Totals:
Desired Vertical Total = (Original Vertical Total) x (Original Hz) / (Destination Hz)
*keep adjusting VTs until horizontal and pixel clock frequency reach it's maximum.

VG259QM will have different parameters, so don't use these exact numbers with 25" model. Just copy your highest Hz parameters.
It is probably not necessary to delete all resolutions, only those associated with 60Hz.

Once you're done reboot your computer (or run restart64.exe to reboot GPU driver) and you're good to go.
