Using off-grid tips

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

Using off-grid tips

Post by akylen » 09 Nov 2024, 12:59

Hello, I am a novice in terms of everything related to electricity, which is why I am asking my question here in order to have a little more visibility for my questions.

My question is: does this kit >

https://kitsolaire-discount.com/fr/kits ... ombination

Could support my needs regarding only my gaming PC with say 12+ hours per day on it.

For information, I am in the geographical area with the attached image.

The power supply is as follows > Corsair RM1000e (2023)

Thanks.

Don't do it, get a lithium power station instead that you can charge from the wall and return easily, if you want to test offgrid.

- solar only works 6 months a year
- who is going to install it safely and properly, not you
- lead acid batteries are trash
- likely not refundable
- solar off grid has been tested without success a bunch of times

it is like big power bank?
It can work with a 500W PC/monitor for so long?
Can charging this power bank from the bad elec. back the problem?

you have to figure out the real power consumption of your pc, cpu + gpu TPD is a good rough measure plus the monitor of course. To power a 500W setup for an hour you would need a 600Wh power station for example.

Someone tried with this?

https://www.amazon.es/FOSSiBOT-F3600-Ge ... 84ed9b0efd

12 hours off grid, charged in 2 hours.
