IMPORTANT:
This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

anyway, if you've been playing with a bad pc for a long time, you've trained your muscle memory (even if your sensitivity is different every time for some reason). And you'll feel a change in gameplay when you change anything in the house, simply because a computer is a complex device that can be affected by literally everything, especially electricity.

Okay, I had an exposed wire on my cpu water cooler pump. Would this have done anything?Slender wrote: ↑15 Mar 2025, 19:13anyway, if you've been playing with a bad pc for a long time, you've trained your muscle memory (even if your sensitivity is different every time for some reason).
