So I've been having input lag issues for a while now.
So yesterday I tested voltages using a usage meter.
I'm supposed to be getting 230v in my plugs but instead I'm getting 210-213 max.
I've noticed many times that my pc has way less input lag and games are playable at nights and so I noticed my voltage sometime goes as high as 222v at that time.
Also I've noticed that usually my PC works better after I leave it off/unplugged for a long time? I work and I usually leave the house for a week and so PC stays off at that time.
Any opinions on this ?

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Prolly same thing , more ppl use line (more power drawn is main cause ) = voltage drops

This seems to be the cause of the long time problems tbh.amorou wrote: β01 Feb 2024, 19:47Some people found ease with running clothing iron before the pc plugs on circutwidow13 wrote: β01 Feb 2024, 17:52So I've been having input lag issues for a while now.

Late at night everything is better and at that time I have more voltage and a lot more stable.
I'll try to get it resolved and see how it goes.

Re: Input lag issues for a while
Ever tried leaving the pc unplugged for a while ? (1-2 days)amorou wrote: β02 Feb 2024, 08:39Oh I get your post wrong , its the opposite of what I said , anyway mine is shit 7/24 so idkwidow13 wrote: β02 Feb 2024, 04:56This seems to be the cause of the long time problems tbh.amorou wrote: β01 Feb 2024, 19:47Some people found ease with running clothing iron before the pc plugs on circutwidow13 wrote: β01 Feb 2024, 17:52So I've been having input lag issues for a while now.

And see how it acts the first day it gets plugged in again?
My PC seems to be working a lot better after I leave it off for days due to work.
Re: Input lag issues for a while
Yeah if I leave it unplugged 4-5 day = its better ,
1-2 day = no
1-2 day = no
Re: Input lag issues for a while
Same thing with me - no input lag at night and the pc works better for some time if it chills unplugged, that's why buying new motherboard worked for me... I thought the problem was solved

Just noticed this and found your topic instantly, feels nice
