It is the body that causes issues

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Re: It is the body that causes issues
I believe this issue is either an MKUltra like experiment or we are experiencing a phenomenom that is yet to be discovered

It is so ridiculously easy to verify:
1. Buy wireless mouse.
2. Buy wireless keyboard.
3. Buy huge desk.
4. Play from the furthest possible distance from your PC.
5. Share your thoughts.

Then you could say your body affects mouse or keyboard internals. I guess it would have optical chipset to avoid this.cursed-gamer wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 14:57It is so ridiculously easy to verify:

Then cover a mouse with lead foil and buy analog keyboard.dervu wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 16:45Then you could say your body affects mouse or keyboard internals. I guess it would have optical chipset to avoid this.cursed-gamer wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 14:57It is so ridiculously easy to verify:

already tried with 10m cables (mouse, keyboard and monitor), same thingcursed-gamer wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 14:57It is so ridiculously easy to verify:

An earthing mat matches your body's voltage to that of the Earth's*. Voltage is a potential difference. Depends on where you live, earth potential is not always lower than Mains Neutral. Which in my case it's not, we actually have an elevated earth potential where I live, which is about 1.5-2V more than that of the Neutral. In my case, It can be a combination of electronic appliances used by the neighborhood, a really close by ground transformer and a rocky ground in general.Lagsadok wrote: ↑14 Feb 2024, 20:5330 minutes ago I tried playing with my PC outside it felt perfect except it started overheating cause it was in the direct sunlight lol. Played about 15 minutes of deathmatch and it felt perfect the whole time. If anyone else is in a position they can try it to test please do, obviously if you're in an apartment it probably isn't possible. I will try a grounding or earthing mat as I saw it lowers the bodies voltage to 0.
Anyways, Please don't do this if you have a conductive case style wired keyboard, I.E Aluminum. Unless you have wireless peripherals I highly suggest that you don't do this as your PC will continuously discharge not only through it's PSU>Receptacle>Ground Bar>Earth/Neutral Bar, it will also do it through Keyboard>You>Receptacle>Ground Bar>Earth/Neutral Bar.
If your circuits are protected against earth leakage, let's say, RCBOs, RCDs etc. Then go ahead "in case of wireless peripherals", otherwise don't plug yourself into an unknown unprotected circuit, it's extremely dangerous.

Re: It is the body that causes issues
I can confirm, that wherever I play, it's the same everywhere. I mean it's never been noticeably better or worse than previous place, doesn't matter what.
Re: It is the body that causes issues
and i can say the biggest impact on my input lag problem its after i started going to gym, everytime when i come back from gym its everything perfect for few minutes - 1 hour. I know it's inexplicable but its true. my input lag can be bad 99% for day but when i go to gym and comeback everytime perfect.
Re: It is the body that causes issues
I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but I would agree that it's my body that does it. When I lived with my parents, there were always problems with the electricity in the house. I have even lost 2 computers because of thunderstorms. When I lived with my parents, there were always fuses blowing, power outages and so on. It seemed that when I was at home, there was always some kind of overload. When I went to live separately, there were no problems with the electricity in my parents' house. When I moved to a new apartment, after a while the electricity problems started again. I remember that the electricians were working on the problem for a whole week, and there was even a huge generator behind the house. The neighbours told me that for a long time there were no problems with the electricity until now. I have looked on the internet and found that there are indeed people who make electrical equipment work poorly.
