Emi fix? Some cs2 pro's talking about this

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

Emi fix? Some cs2 pro's talking about this

Post by gemarda » 01 Mar 2024, 20:41

Hi guys! Today i watched some cs2 videos on yt, and one in special it's about s1mple, one of the cs legends.

That guy are talking about he has input lag since his last matches he can't kill properly on internet. He saw that don't want to play internet anymore only LAN because of this.

Most recently a few guys uploaded videos about cs2 highlights where they say this guys fixed that problem, he talked in streaming about connecting "iron" in the socket that the pc is connected. Any thoughts about this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS-nrQMFe7c from 2:30 to 6:30 you can see about this, even d0nk a young promise, with insane moments talk about this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YQrpEhuOBQ and in this video in 3:15 he talks about a test about latency and so different results.

It's all hype from people having this issue, hoping he has it's also, no one really knows yet. If he confirms it is fixed by moving out, what is most probable if he doesn't solve it in any way, it only proves such issue can touch even pros. It's weird most consistent player of all time would not be able to come back to his form.

Also at one video there was recording of him not muting his mic and talking over phone with someone about moving out, but you can't be sure he is not trolling same as with connecting iron, which by the way is temporary thing like anything with this issue.
Also someone could have used AI to make up his voice and troll people - moving out part.

There appears to be a lot of discussion about this issue, with some expecting that it has also been handled by a professional player. If the problem remains despite efforts, it demonstrates that even experienced professionals aren't immune. It's strange that someone as consistent as him is struggling to restore form. The recording of him discussing moving out could be genuine or a troll tactic, similar to the iron connection issue. The possibility of AI-generated voices adds an extra degree of uncertainty. Only time will disclose the truth about these theories.
