Stuttering on all devices in home

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

Stuttering on all devices in home

Post by dark9550 » 28 Nov 2021, 22:44

Hi.
I have a huge performance problem - My games don't work as they should, gameplay is full of micro-stutters (frametime spikes)
They jump from 8ms to 30-250ms which causes stutter. Happens on any hardware in the home (PS5, PC, IPHONE 12, MACBOOK)
I have this problem since November 2020, I live in Poland. Has anyone encountered anything similar? I'm tired of this already :(
PS. Maybe this power pole is my enemy?

Does it happen on iPhone and Macbook in battery mode? What happens when you take them a few km away from your home or that power pole? Do they still stutter?

Does the stutter only happen in games or also maybe while browsing the web or watching a video?

How far away is the power pole from your house?

Can you test/charge your devices for more than one day at a different place (work, friends, parents place)?

1. Yes, rarely but yes; on facebook, youtube, twitch, and sometimes while scrolling. Games are the worst thing...Stutters every 10-30s (EVEN OLD GAMES LIKE SKYRIM, HALF LIFE 2, MAX PAYNE 3)
2. 300 meters :/
3. Yeah i'll try soon

PS. Ofc i swapped every component in my PC

Swapping doesn't work, you need to never use all the parts that were in your system when the stutter took place. You need to replace it ALL brotherr

Stop spreading this bullshit that everyones PC is somehow infected and they need to replace it all. It is not even confirmed with enough people to call it normal behavior. There are probably rare cases, but do not tell people to buy everything new just to be disappointed.
