ASUS PG27AQDM ULMB / ELMB Settings for Competitive FPS Games

High Hz on OLED produce excellent strobeless motion blur reduction with fast GtG pixel response. It is easier to tell apart 60Hz vs 120Hz vs 240Hz on OLED than LCD, and more visible to mainstream. Includes WOLED and QD-OLED displays.

ASUS PG27AQDM ULMB / ELMB Settings for Competitive FPS Games

Post by rouben » 04 Feb 2025, 11:26

Hi everyone, I recently got the Asus PG27AQDP but am not too knowledgably about monitors in general, especially ELMB vs ULMB 2.0

Basically, I'm hitting over 500fps on this monitor, so I've been playing native 1440p 480hz, but if I was to enable ULMB or ELMB which one would be better for my situation for competitive FPS games like Valorant? Or should I keep them disabled in general

Bottom line is I don't know what the optimal settings are for my computer and for the game I play, but basically, I can hit well over the refresh rate's fps at 1440p and play competitive shooters

If you have any opinions on what kind of settings I should run for motion clarity and all that then please let me know I'm really eager to learn

Thanks!
