Asus PG27AQDM - 27" 1440p 240hz OLED display

High Hz on OLED produce excellent strobeless motion blur reduction with fast GtG pixel response. It is easier to tell apart 60Hz vs 120Hz vs 240Hz on OLED than LCD, and more visible to mainstream. Includes WOLED and QD-OLED displays.

Just a tease so far with more info promised at CES 2023.
Looks like it's using the same panel as the LG 27GR95QE and will launch at the same price.

I wish it had Nvidia Reflex Analyzer, it's nice when you want to make sure everything is running responsively.

I have the Asus PG27AQDM, the washed out color hdr issue is fixed when installing latest firmware version MCM103, released April 21 2023. My monitor's firmware was V102 before. I didn't realize there was a firmware update until I checked ASUS's support page yesterday, so I used V102 for a week, thinking the washed out color was an HDR feature of "true colors". So far I'm liking the OLED, perfect blacks are really nice, and the monitor is really bright. LOTR trilogy in 2K HDR looks great with the dark scenes, I use SVP to triple the movie's frame rate, they have a nice RTX AI algorithm for smooth video. Only half sure that HDR is enabled while using it in MPC-HC. I'm satisfied with moving from IPS to OLED.

My previous monitor was an ASUS PG279Q, IPS 165hz with 120hz ULMB. The OLED 240hz is comparable to a 120hz ULMB, but more smooth and no ghosting at all. TFT gave a really good review so there isn't much point to explain further, it's a great monitor. I'm surprised nobody has posted in this thread since March :P. It has been out of stock for a while at all distributors, but it comes in stock every few weeks. Got mine from ASUS's website, warranty is good for 2 years, ships from California since it came from overseas.
