lg27gr95qe-b vs Zowie Xl2566k (Gaming at ~200-250 fps)

High Hz on OLED produce excellent strobeless motion blur reduction with fast GtG pixel response. It is easier to tell apart 60Hz vs 120Hz vs 240Hz on OLED than LCD, and more visible to mainstream. Includes WOLED and QD-OLED displays.

lg27gr95qe-b vs Zowie Xl2566k (Gaming at ~200-250 fps)

Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Would appreciate feedback on which monitor to choose.

Right now I am mainly playing Halo infinite and getting about 240fps average - my question is will the zowie perform better (motion clarity / response) at that fps (with custom HZ=fps, or unlocked) vs the oled? My understanding is the zowie performs better at 360 but not sure what the verdict is at lets say 200 fps.

In addition, how measurable is the difference here? It looks like at 360 fps it is quite noticeable.

Kind regards all!

OLED greatly outperforms LCD at the same frame rate, in motion clarity. In fact, 240Hz OLED performs better than most 360Hz OLEDs, with the sole exception of the XL2566K which is roughly parity with OLED.

OLED has 1.5x to 2.0x better motion clarity at the same frame rate.
