What causes horizontal white line flicker?

Minor update, someone on Reddit reports they have the issue with RX7800XT, so it's not just Nvidia, and not just MSI but also Alienware/Dell etc, and not just the 27" QDOLED but also the 32" QDOLED etc, and not just Samsung QDOLED but also LG WOLED.

So... what's left as common denominator? Operating System? Idk how it would be Windows, but idk if anyone has tested another 1440p 360Hz capable output device like Linux or Apple/Mac. If those also have the issue, there are literally no more variables to rule out... every single possible thing would have been changed. Unless maybe VESA/DSC bug? If it's enabled in all these cases, but somehow isn't problematic at 240Hz on the 360Hz QDOLEDs despite DSC still being on at 240Hz too. And other displays like LG WOLED only being 1440p 240Hz max but still displaying the issue... I don't know how to make sense of it all, or if MSI will be able to either. Unless there's somehow various different things causing basically the exact same issue.

If anyone else reading this has the issue, please try disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling and check again.

If they do manage to fix it, I'm still going to be curious what the hell causes this on other panels since it happens on different brands/firmware and even different panels whether it be other QDOLED or even WOLED. It doesn't make sense how they share the same cause, if this is something MSI can fix for their specific model, which is why I haven't been too hopeful. Seems like they're onto something maybe hopefully though.

We're still waiting to see if firmware update resolves it, have to use 240Hz until then.
MSI has said they're working on it but yea...

Someone on Reddit got a ticket reply of in 2 weeks and I just got a reply of next week, so 1-2 more weeks hopefully no longer
