I FOUND [POSSIBLE] CAUSE OF [SOME] EYESTRAINS?

Post by technicalitch » 11 Mar 2025, 16:58

Just look at this. its not normal and i think our eyes cannot stand this moving white shadow. its not always the same thats why our eyes get extremely crazy. dont know how to call this phenomenon but it exist. this va screen helped me to know whats going on. on ips i had hard eyestrain, on va super hardcore. is MOVING glow cause of all our eyestrains?
what if it were static or doesnt just exist? i know oled is existing there and there is no ips glow but oled have flickering so its also another pain, lets discuss but i think im very close now (i hope)

its not reflection from room light, i turned light off and it was same weird

AOC CU34G2XP/BK - VA CURVE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOsIeABUrq0

look on va curve how screen is shining, its crazy

on va i feel like im looking at it like a reflective jacket. it's a feeling of crystal and a strange shimmering light that I can't describe. on ips effect is smaller but moving ips glow can irritate eye IMHO

there is something in these screens that makes the light not flat but rather reflective, I don't know how to describe it in English but that's the feeling I get when I look at the VA curved monitor

on va i was able to look at screen only with one eye. with two eye it was like Eye convergence problem.

up is good article about curved va screens

tl:drmoving ips glow is killing eyes as you see on video with flat monitorwith curved monitor not only moving ips you can see, monitor is shining like diamond!!!

I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

talk
Yes, curved screens are an suboptimal experience in terms of eye comfort anecdotally speaking.
The rest what you've said, I don't agree with.
It's funny to me that you can clearly see visible light strobing (flicker) behind your display in the Q24G2A video. I think you should fix your ambient light instead.

It's only one possible cause, everybody eyestrains differently:
