Could be, but I don't think the majority of people that deep of a desk. The average desk depth is probably around <1m. Maybe if you get one of those tall TV stand, it might work out.

hm, table is rarely deep so much, so most of people stay too close to monitor

That's why monitor stands can be useful mitigating that issue.
