Hello,
People who register using Yahoo email addresses, aren't getting registration confirmation emails.
Yahoo emails does not seem to work with Blur Busters Forums registrations.
For now -- Please register for Blur Busters Forums using a different email address (e.g. your ISP address, etc).
Thanks!
Mark Rejhon

Have you found what the problem was? You emailed me about it at some point, but I don't remember having such a severe problem with any server I've ever set up.Chief Blur Buster wrote:Fixed now! (hopefully)

Re: Yahoo emails are now working!
Yahoo had blocks on the ISP's entire block of IPS due to other websites having low email rep. No amount of wrangling with the Yahoo support got me anywhere. My server move brought me to cleaner IP addresses, which solved the Yahoo problem immediately.
All blur busters emails are compliant with forum registration standards as people only double-opt-in in by manually registering and getting registration confirm emails, which they have to confirm again via a link in email, before getting optional, fully controllable thread notifies, with unsubscribe info in all emails. But inheriting a spoiled set of ip addresses can still leave a part of a data center (not just my server) stuck on a blacklist. Hopefully it stays unblocked now.
