FORUM UPGRADE SCHEDULE

STAGE 1 UPGRADE
Upgrade is now complete
Design will be nearly identical:

• COMPLETED -- Slight design refresh
• COMPLETED -- Bug fixes
• COMPLETED -- Better spam filter
• COMPLETED -- Easier to register
• COMPLETED -- Improved heading buttons
• COMPLETED -- Mobile friendly (iPhone, Android)

STAGE 2 UPGRADE
ETA: Early 2020
Afterwards, it will provide a path to other projects we have well under way for 2020:

• Unified registration/login for both BlurBusters.com comments & Forums posts.
• Optional easy registration via social media
• Retains old-fashioned email registration method (but with smarter spam filter that has less false-positives)
• Patreon feature that also enables ads-free mode (on both this site & main site) + Patreon-only area
• Easier searching of gaming monitors
• Optional easy WYSIWYG editor (bold, italics, URLs, font size, text color, embed videos/youtubes, etc)

STAGE 1 forum upgrades are complete!

Mobile is a huge improvement, looks great

I like it, good job! (hopefully i can keep logged in because i always got logged out ).



P.S. Now i want to see that monitor you have been teasing us for months .

I never liked phpBB's Quick Reply: terrible spacing on the right, no formatting options or smileys, nothing. Might as well just disable it.

It's a mixed bag -- though some of us like it if we just want to do a one-sentence reply.

For readers, there's two alternate ways to reply
- Click the quote button at top-right corner of any post. That instantly brings you to the full editor.
- Click the "Full Editor" button under the quick reply.

I'm researching which WYSIWYG editor to install, it will have the traditional mode (like this) and WYSIWYG mode. Potentially, some of these enhancements may also enhance the quick-reply system.
