Hello,

About Occasional Web Site Outages

We're aware! There has been some lingering network-reliability problems with Blur Busters. If you visited Blur Busters and our web servers did not respond -- apologies! We're aware of the random/intermittent outages.

Some of our sites such as TestUFO are now fully covered by a Content Distribution Network (CDN) like all the big guys -- and now handle practically tens of thousands of simultaneous visitors thanks to previous upgrades -- the problems have been unrelated to that.

Server Upgrade Coming

We are currently researching a different, new dedicated hosting service that may provide more Enterprise-quality reliability for the Blur Busters sites.

Keep tuned in these exciting times in the refresh rate race to retina refresh rates!

Update: Server has been upgraded and I got a 3-month billing credit (unusually large)

We are still 50%-50% about transferring the web hosting service.

Currently, Blur Busters now can handle thousands of TestUFO visitors simultaneously, and server is less than 10% utilized, and CloudFlare CDN is currently enabled. In theory, no server downtimes should occur even with the biggest media-coverage surges but I need to trust our web hosting service to step up to the plate.

For now, the (re-)upgraded server is stable -- and am now monitoring if this will stay stable going forward.

If you work in the industry, and have recommendations/suggestions of a hosting service -- would love to hear from you by DM or email squad [at] blurbusters.com -- I require real-world credentials to the hosting service of existing major sites.
