XL2420TE +Chrome+Lightboost= 60hz ufotest

Post by kyente » 21 Jun 2014, 20:31

I don't know what i'm doing wrong! I have the monitor, I installed correctly, and rebooted. But when I go on the ufotest.com it says 60 refresh rate and frame rate 60. I make sure Aero is installed and since i'm using Chrome it shoudn't be a problem. I have a Nvidia GTX 760 and my computer settings are set to 120hz. Is there anything i'm missing?

Check requirements at www.testufo.com/browser.html

A common culprit is power management, which also occurs on desktops. Try setting Full Performance and seeing what happens.

The same thing happens to me, except that often it will initially say 120hz and have lightboost enabled, but after awhile I go back to test it again on the website and its switched back to 60hz. Any idea what may be causing that to happen? I have it forced to 120hz so I dont really understand how that makes any sense.

Download this Chrome version (30.0.1599.101).

Ufotest will work, even when you have Aero disabled and Windows Power plan set to" Balanced".
