noticing a double image effect when i play 60fps games

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

From your TV review:

From your TV review:
This TV has an optional Black Frame Insertion feature to help reduce motion blur. Unfortunately, the backlight's minimum flicker frequency is 120Hz even when playing 60Hz content, which results in some image duplication.

So you can't do anything about it. Basically, if TV strobes are not equal to refreshrate, the strobing is useless.
From the Blurbusters article about it:
Image

I've tested it at 180Hz, so 90fps. It's just as horrible, while properly strobed 50Hz can look clear (albeit super flickery) so google if there's some kind of firmware mod or update for your tv and if not, it's unusable for 60Hz content, IF you demand clear image in motion (as you should :) )

^He said "no motion features activated"
So he's getting double image on sample-and-hold.
Maybe it's the kind of frame-doubling effect you get with 60fps@120hz since the GtG isn't perfect.

I assume "motion features" meant frame interpolation and smoothing, the additional processing made by the TV.

Maybe Judder issue ?

You need to enable motion interpolation if you play at a game if the frame rate is lock at 30fps..

Motion interpolation work at 60hz Also.

TV have game mode check for it.
