Nvidia DLSS 3 Analyzed by hardware unboxed
Re: Nvidia DLSS 3 Analyzed by hardware unboxed
Yeah. I am disappointed.
I expected very good image quality when interpolating from 120fps, and they say that in fast motion the artifacts are still visible.
Also, the V-sync ON mode and the horrible 90ms input lag.
Just for reference: Since like 20 years, optimally configured online multiplayer games achieve 25ms. If I'm wrong here and it was a bit more 20 years ago, it might be 30ms.
So, the 90ms is pretty bad, I'd say. Even for slower games. Whenever you use your mouse for camera/view control, you really need less than 90ms for the game to feel good.
I still hope for something better. From this tech in the future or from some completely different approach. It surely can be done better.
