ULMB on AMD?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Hmm, it seems extraordinarily lame to me to lock out ULMB for AMD users. It's not like nvidia themselves were the ones to discover the advantages of strobed backlight for non-3D gaming, and I'd assume nvidia still gets money for the G-Sync license in the display.

I currently have an XL2420TE, and my main gripes are the inability to toggle strobing via monitor OSD, and the absolutely horrid banding caused by 6-bit color depth. Even without G-Sync, this display would be perfect if I could use the ULMB modes.
