XG2431 ghosting when under Hz target?

Post by Tiberiusmoon » 04 May 2023, 16:44

When my FPS drops below Hz target there are some noticable ghosting artifacts happening.

OSD is freesync with ultra fast response time.

Display driver: 1.5.0.1

Hey, bud. Is free sync enabled in your graphics control program? So adrenaline if and GPU? Are you positive this isn't inverse ghosting? What is the refresh rate of the monitor? If you are at a fixed refresh rate there will be potential image doubling when using the pureXP. It has to be at or above the refresh rate.

I found it, it was the response time set to ultra fast, setting it to advanced resolved it.

Mine doesn't have inverse ghosting at 120-240hz with ultra fast on. Oddly enough it is different depending on color settings in osd. Set yours to native and enjoy.
