Been using since 2020, never had an AMD gpu but still bought this for some reason. I mainly play CS:GO in fairly high elo. The ghosting on this monitor is so bad even with my "optimized" settings. Specs and settings are listed down below, would appreciate any help or even an advisory to pawn this thing and get a Zowie. My PC's components are not an issue, I have a Ryzen 7 2700x, 36gb of ddr5 ram, a GTX 3060ti, and a top of the line motherboard.
Monitor Specs:
- Screen size: 27"
- Resolution: 1920 x 1080
- Refresh Rate: 144Hz
- Panel: 1800R Va, Curved
Motion Blur & Latency Features:
- Overdrive (Set to strong)
- FreeSync: Off (I have an Nvidia gpu)
- MBR (Set to 5 out of 20(Any higher and the picture gets too dark))
- VSync (Nvidia settings): On

rtings has not reviewed this monitor but has reviewed the cq27g1 which seems to be the 1440p variant if you want to that check out.

This would be a good refrence test for ghosting: https://www.testufo.com/ghosting
If you have ghosting in game but not in the test then its a game issue rather than display.
Va panels are prone to ghosting at high refresh rates, so one option is to pawn the monitor and research for a better one.
Just buying a TN or IPS display will get rid of the ghosting issue.
Now there is something to consider with monitors, a low latency display with high refreshrate will be ideal for CS or Valorant because they are fixed gaze games, a monitor with good motion blur reduction is ideal for tracking games like Apex.
For your system specs i'd say the XG2431 should be ideal.
A XG2431 has an input latency of 2.7ms @240Hz and incredible motion blur reduction that has less input latency than higher end displays which use 360Hz. (compared to XL2566K and PG27AQN on rtings)
