Why dont they add ULMB support for 144 hz?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Im really wondering why they dont add 144hz support for ULMB, instead it goes to max 120 hz. Is there a technical limitation for it or smth?

I have always assumed that the intervals between refreshes are too quick for the backlight, but that's only a guess (and not even a really educated one at that). They would if they could but they can't so they shan't...until they can, at which point they will. Etc.
