Battlefield 4 Brightness issue with 2D Lightboost

Post by L1nos » 05 Oct 2014, 04:29

Hello,

I've got a new Monitor, the Asus VG278HE.
And of course I installed the Strobelight Software to activate 2D lightboost, and the result is amazing.

But I have a weird issue in Battlefield 4. I thought I could erase the Brightness dump that comes with strobelight by just adjusting the Brightness setting in Battlefield 4. When I increase the Brightness, the screen becomes much brighter, but as soon as I confirm this setting and return ingame the brightness is as low as it was.

The setting though shows the new higher value. I had no problems in CSGO. The setting remains there.
I also tried to set the Brightness values in the user.cfg, but it didn't work either :(.

Anyone got any idea?

Hello again,

i've found the solution for this problem:

You have to stop and disable the "Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service" and the "Nvidia Streamer Service".

These settings have adjusted my Brightness level automatically.
