Surround+strobe light fixed?
Surround+strobe light fixed?
I'm trying to setup strobelight on a triple Asus VG248QE Nvidia surround setup. It shows that it is active, but does not allow for me to select a strobe brightness. I know there was a driver issue in the past for surround. Has it been fixed?

Have you confirmed LightBoost is enabled? (e.g. www.testufo.com looks crystal clear?)
Surround LightBoost has been historically pretty problematic over the last year.

Re: Surround+strobe light fixed?
According to NVidia forum posts software EDID override is STILL (!) broken in surround mode. Only EDID hardware hack work. (I recently upgraded to SLI GTX980, EDID hard lightboost hack still working)

Hardware hack:
www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/hardware-mod/
If this is too much headache, I suggest an easier "LightBoost sequel" strobe technology during your next monitor upgrade (or sell/repurchase) -- such as three ULMB (NVIDIA) or three BENQ Blur Reduction (AMD/NVIDIA) monitors. This will permit pushbutton control of blur reduction even in surround mode. These monitors are listed in the Official List Of 120Hz+ Monitors.
