Post by tamacuki » 26 Jan 2016, 16:20

Hi there,
I have tried 1350 and it works fine.
I have tried set the VT at1502. It doesn't work, the monitor suffers random black screen I have not idea what's happening.

I have using:
DVI_D dual link,
120 Hz
GPU nvidia 970 GTX G1.
Instant mode ON.
Override: checked
Persistence 2.0 ms.
Crosstalk (earlier strobe phase, minimun value)

Any solution?
Thank!

Try VT 1499 or VT 1500 and report back.
And please use ToastyX CRU to create the custom resolution. Don't use Nvidia control panel.
I've seen cases of people getting headaches and strange double images when using the Nvidia CP even though it looks like it worked.

Also make sure you are editing the default 120hz values before changing the VT. Don't edit 60hz values and then just change it to 120hz; the horizontal total and front porch and sync width are different for 60hz than they are for 85-120hz

You should be creating these or editing these settings.
H: 1920
V: 1080

Porch: 48 pixels, 3 lines
sync: 32 pixels, 5 lines
Horizontal total: 2080
Vertical total: 1144 (120hz default), 1133 (100hz default) <--change to 1500.

It doesn't works... When i try to open chrome black screen appears and disappears constantly. If I change 1052 to 1500 or 1499 color depth change to 256 colours and a message appears "incorrect cable. Use a DVI dual link..." and I'm using it.

This is a video driver issue. I can't help with that.

Chrome uses hardware acceleration. You are having an issue with this. Sorry I can't help with those types of problems.
can you play games with VT 1502?

Yes, I can play games normally.
The problem only appears when I open internet browser window (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome).
I will format and install drivers again.
