Let me hook my monitor up to my laptop and take a picture. I have the option over the VGA connection even if the monitor lightboost hasn't been unlocked yet (e.g. after an AC power off on the monitor). All I have to do to get the option is to change the product ID to that 'ACI27F8', which lets me select the Asus 120hz 3d LCD. If I don't change the product ID, I only have "3d vision discover"
*Edit*
without the benq monitor plugged in, I don't even have the stereoscopic tab to begin with.
Screw it, gonna use HDMI. The VGA plug is too annoying to screw in and the laptop doesn't have screw 'holes' to secure the VGA cable (it was really scary to firmware upgrade my Benq with the laptop because of that).
G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!

Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!
Ok I can't use the HDMI connection. The monitor just keeps resetting instantly. And I know why. it's because I did some INF override with HDMI a long time ago when using a HDMI to DVI adapter on the laptop (long before I realized I can just use VGA and VT 1155 at 60hz) and put completely wrong timings into the laptop trying to force an invalid hdmi resolution on the Benq. I'll probably have to uninstall the driver completely and reinstall it to fix that. Looks like I have to use VGA
ok I plugged it in VGA. Changed the product ID and restarted the driver.

U don't have internet to download the driver? you can't use reset-all application that comes with CRU?
So it turns out i was a liar, with the ID change i CAN get g-sync working, i don't know why it didn't work before (Might be because i didn't have a 1080p 144hz resolution?) but it works now.
When i turn on Stereoscopic 3D lightboost will turn on when i select 120/100hz at any resolution (I only have those two because i could only fit a few custom res into CRU 144/120/100)
When i go to create the NEW custom res it works and i select G-Sync but as soon as i try and run any game with that res my screen goes black and doesn't display anything. I can alt-tab out and use that res at the desktop but anything requiring G-Sync doesn't run.
I've got a feeling my monitor has a check to make sure they both don't run at the same time. but i'm still open to ideas.
http://imgur.com/LRWgLFT looks like i'm not the only one, it's just hard to tell if it's important that "Always" is selected.

What custom resolution did you create, if I may ask?

1900x1050 like Falkentyne said, and 1440x1080.
I only used auto timings.

So you never got the "always keep 3d enabled" selection dropbox?
I don't understand why me and masterotaku have it but you don't...
I have it even with a VGA connection through a laptop...

Driver ver and graphic card?
Even on the classic scaler it doesn't show up w/ or w/o the ID hack.

I think the driver is 312.xx or something a few years old.
But masterotaku's driver is MUCH MUCH MUCH newer.
if you use the same driver as his, it should appear. I don't understand why it wouldn't!
Especially on the classic scalar.
And it's a Geforce 570m.
