I recently bought this monitor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I0NF8RI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1. In most games I dont really notice any blur but in a few games it is very noticeable. It it most evident in league of legends on the health bar of the minions. I can also notice it a lot when playing path of exile on the items that drop and it pretty but all of hollow knights characters. It seems to be worse when there is a stationary box or something and my camera moves around it. Is there anyway to fix this or is it just part of the monitor. It also seems that the issue is worsened at 144hz which seems counter intuitive.

ULMB is Ultra Low Motion Blur.

This is also a VA panel -- which means it will have more blurry motion for dark colors (dungeon games, etc). VA has a tendency to ghost with dark colors. VA colors are really good though. Some VA monitors do a better job than others, especially when warmed up (warm panel). VA LCDs is also more temperature sensitive than other LCDs, so it ghosts much more in a cold room.

That is unfortunate is there a monitor that you would recommend that is similar to the one mentioned that would blur less or is motion blur just a part of having a 144hz monitor.

Check out the OD setting in your monitors On Screen Display, changing that to "Normal" might fix your problem.

I had tried that previously with no effect. Also since the return window was closing I decided to just return it and try a different monitor.
