Trying the 60 Hz ULMB Hack

Post by Torkyo » 12 Jul 2018, 17:31

hello, I'm new here although I read blur buster for years. Congrats for this great website.

I read this guide:
https://www.blurbusters.com/60hz-ulmb-hack-howto/

I wanted to have 60Hz ULMB but according with the information you provided, my old AOC G2460PG 144Hz G-Sync monitor doesn't support the hack. In fact I tried without success.

I'm here as I just bought a new AOC AG251FG 240 Hz G-Sync monitor which is in the list of the monitor that should support the 60 Hz ULMB Hack.
I followed the guide but sadly I must note that ULMB isn't running @60 Hz, once I try to enable ULMB in the monitor menus with the proper ULMB button, OSD reports: "ULMB only possible at 100/120/144Hz".
Being this monitor in the list, I was expecting to have the 60 Hz ULMB Hack running. Maybe this information is not correct? or maybe I did anything wrong?
Is there anything I can do to try to have the hack running?
thanks.
