LightBoost keeps turning off or back to 144hz

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

LightBoost keeps turning off or back to 144hz

Post by kevzz01 » 24 Jul 2018, 17:11

On my first launch of pubg, lightboost works pretty well until I close pubg then it goes back to 144hz. After that I tried changing refresh rate to 120hz to get lightboost working again but right after the screen dimmed it turns back to 144hz right away! I can force lightboost if I only install 120hz refresh rate strobe but I kinda want a 144hz as well. I have no idea what’s going on as I am new to this. I’m using Acer GN246HL. Any help would be appreciated

Hey,
are u using VibranceGUI? It changed my resolution all the time, and i couldnt change it manually.

Theres a (newer?) version of it, where it doesnt allow it to change the res.

Try it: https://github.com/juvlarN/vibranceGUI/ ... .3.1.0.zip

I was actually figured out the culprit and it was the vibranceGUI. So what I did this time is setup a resolution for my PUBG through vibrancegui and its been working great so far
