For comparastion, this is the clouding on my Asus XG248Q. Be assured, it isn´t as bad as what it appears to be on the photo and it didn´t bother me a single time yet on any game, including Battlefield V. Like I said before it doesn´t show more clouding than any other TN I have used before. Typical thing.

High-Hz panels do tend to get worse uniformity in blacks (clouding effects or other nonuniform effects) in strobed modes than non-strobed modes. I see it on all monitors to an extent - some worse and some better - but never perfect uniformity. It can become hard/impossible to see in a bright room but much easier to see in a totally dark room playing dark games.

That said, yes, Usually the nonuniformity effects is less visible in person than in the photograph too.

I tried out the BenQ XB272 and I think it's a bit too big for a 240hz 1080p. I was about to pull this trigger on this XG248Q but I guess I'll hold off. Maybe check out the Gigabyte KD25F when it's available for purchase.
