This only affects the top edge of the screen, and only occurs in LightBoost mode (not other modes), so I'm not too sure about the DP/DVI cable which often affects the screen globally. This leads me to think something is defective somewhere else.Falkentyne wrote:This type of problem is almost ALWAYS caused by a bad port, DP or DVI cable. Try swapping the DVI cable for one from another monitor or buy a new one and test it.

Hmm now that you mention it being just that segment of the screen, you're probably right. Someone in the AMD forums mentioned a similar problem (which wasn't localized and also wasn't LB related) and he swapped the cables and the problem went away. The cable which came with his monitor was bad.
Was hopingp it was a cheap to fix problem (cable) rather than having to replace the monitor

The first image shows it affecting the OSD, which can only happen with a faulty monitor.
