Overclocking Benq 60Hz to 75Hz helped with AMA trailing

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Overclocking Benq 60Hz to 75Hz helped with AMA trailing

Post by maou42 » 24 Apr 2019, 06:20

Hi there

I have not had much luck with my previous post but I wanted to let people know that overclocking my monitor (Benq 2870h) to 75Hz helps quite a bit. That monitor is unusable with AMA off except for office work and the AMA trailing is very strong with AMA set to high let alone premium.

A few questions: do the different modes (standard, gamer etc...) have a different response?
Anyone know how to access the service menu on my monitor? I can access the service page with a few options but not the service menu. Or is it knot available on this model?

Thanks
