Manufacturers Decisions: 60Hz LightBoost/ULMB/Blur Reduction

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

It should, yes. Longer duty cycle would mitigate the perceived flickering. Someone with a BenQ Z-series should test this.

And about the topic, I have the same opinion as vega. There should be a warning when using low strobe rate AND/OR the setting should be hidden. Else there will be many complaints. People would start to associate low persistence with flickering.

I'm tempted to start agitating for 50Hz strobe just to further horrify the flicker-sensitives in this thread. :D
Hide it from the masses if you must, but we flicker-immune supermen need it for UK PAL television sources, accurate UK console emulation, and Atari ST low resolution!

...and true 24Hz for films would be nice too....
