182hz tweak w/ XL2540 question

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

182hz tweak w/ XL2540 question

Post by Elixir » 12 Jul 2019, 13:25

Hey. Just wondering if it's better to use 182 fps @ 182hz (Area 0, blur reduction on) for strobing or keep it at an uncapped framerate for lower input lag, while still leaving it on 182hz. Are there any detriments to not having a matching framerate? Thanks!

Use whatever looks and feels better to you. Usually, you just need to decide between vsync ON capped and vsync OFF uncapped. Some people prefer the former, some the latter. Up to you.
