Can Motion Blur Reduction be harmful for your eyes?

Post by senny22 » 22 Aug 2019, 12:22

Regardless of perceived eye strain and tiredness in your eyes, can Motion blur Reduction (i.e. strobing) be harmful for our eyes compared to non strobing?

I'm not really experiencing any eye fatigue when using strobing but am still concerned that the constant flickering can somehow cause damage to the eyes in the long run (am thinking about many many years).

For the same reason I always use a very warm color tone on all my displays (unless I'm doing photo editing or something that require s accurate colors.) as well as take regular breaks to adjust my eyes for further distances.
