Hello!
I wonder if anyone have gotten ELMB to work below 80hz on this monitor?
I´m mostly interested in 60 and 70hz.
Thanks
ELMB below 85hz on Asus VG248QG
Re: ELMB below 85hz on Asus VG248QG
….or if anyone have any 165hz Asus TN model with ELMB and have gotten the 60hz hack to work?
If so, i would be very interested to try your values in cru.

Very probably ASUS monitor doesn't work single strobe+ELMB below 85Hz.
But do you buy a BenQ XL2411P for single strobe + "Blur Reduction" enabled the range of 50Hz and 144Hz?

Thanks alot for your reply nuninho1980!
I deeply regret not knowing this before buying this display. I´m thinking of selling this one and buy the BenQ you suggested

I plan on purchasing the BenQ XL2411P soon and i just want make sure of the following:
Since it can single strobe down to 50hz, it surely can do both 60hz and 70hz if i make custom resolutions?

Yes. He said range.Ywap wrote:Since it can single strobe down to 50hz, it surely can do both 60hz and 70hz if i make custom resolutions?
The BenQ XL2411P can single strobe at any Hz between 50Hz thru 144Hz. Whether it is 60 or 70 or 93.5 or 123.456Hz.

A quick question: Is v-sync at half refreshrate (120hz strobed) comparable to real 60hz strobed?

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Only when combined with software-based black frame insertion. (Like what you see at www.testufo.com/blackframes ...)

Thanks for answering Chief!
I was just wondering since 60hz v-sync:ed at 120hz (adaptable v-sync (half refreshrate) in the nvidia Control panel) sure is looking bad on my Asus display with ELMB enabled. Good to know that i can expect a better result with the Benq.
I put the purchase on hold because i ordered an LG oled tv so i can game with BFI on the couch
