Motion Blur Reduction and <0.5 ms response time

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Motion Blur Reduction and <0.5 ms response time

Post by Kyrie05 » 18 Nov 2019, 20:22

Hello, this is my first post and I'm trying to get into the incredibly complicated world of blurbusting! I usually play Overwatch and I'm thoroughly hooked to fast paced shooting games. As a result, I've thought of building a new PC, however, I cannot decide which monitor to get. Although Motion Blur Reduction at 240Hz is very interesting, I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay the price at the cost of possible crosstalk. This brings me to another thing, from what I understand, motion blur reduction can be achieved without strobing, unfortunately, we're not there yet. I'm not sure how to make a decision choosing between 0.5ms monitors or less vs. the BenQ XL2546. Any help would be much appreciated.
