Benq XL2735

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Benq XL2735

Hello everyone,

For start, I hope no one will see me as a lazy bastard. I have searched this forum for a whole week now, every day, searching for the sweet spot for my monitor... Which is, (you guessed right) a Benq Zowie XL2735.

At the moment, I am running two profiles(both with Dyac on), one for gaming, and one for other stuff.
The gaming profile is Persistence - 22, Crosstalk area - 22 on strobe ulitity. With Black Eq - 10, Color Vibrance - 15, Brightness 100, Contrast 50, Sharpness - 5, Gamma - 2. For the normal profile I turn down Black eq to 0, and color vibrance to 10-11.
Now, the gaming profile seems pretty ok for CS:GO, but I feel there is more tearing than it should be. I run a pretty good system, i have 300fps+ constant...
Maybe someone else who has this monitor can give me some heads up, about some settings that I missed....
Other things I tried: Turned off Dyac - To be honest, I am not sure it actually does something, I noticed no difference in smoothness...Maybe it's just me.
I have read some things few days ago about some custom resolutions that someone tried, and it worked well. I can not find it anymore, though....
Thank you very much for your help!

Regards
Radu

Due to the very low motion blur when strobing, tearing is more visible. That's normal.
